Semiconductors, semiconductor-based integrated circuits and quantum technologies are becoming ever important in today's economy. They are driving technological progress and play an important strategic role in modern geopolitics. Companies, startups and institutions are engaging in collaborative projects that aim towards establishing Europe as a global reference in the design and manufacture of semiconductors. The challenge is political but also scientific.

The processes involved in the manufacture of modern chips, happen at the nanometric scale. At this scale, extremely precise machinery and characterisation tools are needed. Together we will discover how large-scale research infrastructures and technological centers provide state-of-the-art tools that are helping to develop the next generation of devices, streamlining research, manufacture and testing.

The goal of this workshop is to foster networking between leading professionals from pivotal sectors of the semiconductor and quantum technologies value chains and ultimately help companies gain a competitive advantage.

There will be a pitch session open to participating companies!

Disclaimer: The number of participants is limited to 80. Participation is free of charge but moderated.

Note on the language: The official language of the workshop will be English but Q&A in Catalan or Spanish will be possible.
