QUANTY, CRISPY and CTM4XAS Workshop

As a continuation of the series of previous workshops, CELLS-ALBA is organizing a
“QUANTY, CRISPY, and CTM4XAS Workshop”
on the different codes used for crystal field multiplet (CFM) calculations. This workshop will take place at ALBA Synchrotron in (Cerdanyola del Vallès, Barcelona) from June 4th to June 6th.
CFM codes have proven to be very successful for accurate modelling and interpreting soft and hard x-ray XAS, XMCD, and X(M)LD spectra. Also, XPS, IPES, XES and RIXS spectra can be calculated using these codes.
In order to catch up with the recent developments of these codes as well as their use, the workshop will include lectures on their theoretical background as well as on their practical applications, including sessions with a hands-on training for the conference attendants.
