PaN Facilities VISA Meeting 2025

VISA is a data analysis platform developed at the Institute Laue-Langevin (ILL). It has been chosen as the reference tool among European PaN facilities for providing users with the possibility of (re)processing their data from anywhere using the facilities' compute/HPC resources. It is already in production not only at the ILL but also at other Photon and Neutron (PaN) facilities, such as the ESRF and DESY. 

A VISA committee has been formed, comprising members of different European PaN facilities, and has agreed to meet face-to face twice a year.

This meeting will be the occasion to gather VISA experts from other facilities to share experience and define future lines of action. The invited people will also discuss FAIR data management practices among PaN facilities in a dedicated sub-meeting.

The event will take place in the Tesla training room.
