Social Program & Conference dinner
We proposed a combined open social program and conference dinner with a trip and dinner to the beautiful and historical town of Cadaques. Alternatively, the attendees may opt for finding their own program on the basis of alternative leisure activities (see leisure & local activities)
- CADAQUÉS HISTORICAL TOWN
You will have a few hours to walk and visit Cadaques (town where Dali lived nearby) and have dinner at Compartir restaurant in Cadaques.
Just walking around in Cadaques is nice and full of interests from local artists, sea views, local shops and gastronomy. Just matter your step at the old style streets and stairs and ramps of Cadaques! Local offerings will remain at your discretion (our agency Viatges Vinolas will be glad to assist you in this if needed), which could go from a small boat excursion or a visit to nearby Dali’s museum house in Port Lligat.

- CONFERENCE DINNER
The conference dinner will take place at the Compartir restaurant, a restaurant which will introduce you to the roots of Catalan traditional gastronomy with food elaborated from local products guided by renowed chefs. In their own words, Compartir " bases its gastronomic offer on dishes to share in the centre of the table, the result of modern cuisine sprinkled with traditional preparations". An important information: The restaurant has space for up to 63 people, which will be reserve on a first-come first-taken basis.(recall the conference dinner has an additional fee to the registration.)
Nevertheless, the restaurant offer for a dinner in Cadaques is very varied and of high quality and broad price range, so if you fail to secure a spot in the conference dinner restaurant or prefer to explore on your own, you will be all fine. Some of the local favorites include Restaurants La Sal and Ses Paellas, besides many other good restaurants on the sea front. Check trip advisor or other local guides or simply ask our local Agency Viatges Vinolas for excellent suggestions. Although the date will not be on the high season period, reserving in advance is always a good idea.
