ALBA, ESRF, CDTI and LEAPS are organising a Big Science supplier forum, focussing on the forthcoming light source technology needs, in particular those linked to the large-scale synchrotron upgrades being planned at this time.
Participants will learn about the needs of the ALBA light source for its upgrade, as well as the current upgrade planning of the wider range of European light sources. There will also be an opportunity for feedback and discussion on how technology suppliers can work more effectively with Big Science facilities, building on past experience and the LEAPS Innovation pilot project supported by the European Commission. High-level facility management will be present together with engineer and technical experts, and facility technology transfer staff.
