Power Converters are critical components in the performance and the operation of Particle Accelerators. Meetings - scheduled or informally organized - during International Conferences either on Particle Accelerators or Power Electronics are not the best way for exchanging experiences and ideas.
POCPA Workshop devoted to the specific field of Power Converters for Particle Accelerators aimed to group specialists in this field from the particle accelerator laboratories worldwide for a two-day meeting and to organize a true round-table on selected topics.
POCPA5 Workshop will be hosted by ALBA Synchrotron (Barcelona, Spain), from May 24 to 26, 2016. The main topic will be "Performance Specification, Reviewing and Testing for Power supplies and Subsystems”.
