Description

Technological applications require advance characterization techniques in order to properly understand the behavior of functional materials. In this talk I will present the benefits of using X-ray techniques in different contexts, ranging from fundamental studies to the characterization of industrial components.

I will show several examples of using absorption contrast tomography on industrial samples and also how pushing the limits in less-known techniques, such as diffuse scattering, can provide new insights in the understanding of functional materials properties.
