DESCRIPTION:The FCT and the ALBA synchrotron signed on February 2019 a Col
 laboration Agreement aiming to strengthen the scientific collaboration bet
 ween Portugal and Spain. This collaboration includes the funding of four p
 ostdoctoral positions that would be based at ALBA premises and would be in
 volved in collaboration projects between Portuguese research centers or Un
 iversities and ALBA scientific sections.\n\nFCT and ALBA will launch a joi
 nt call in 2021 in the following 4 strategic areas: Life Sciences\, Catal
 ysis\, Batteries and Electronic materials and nanomagnetism.\n\nThe ALBA 
 Synchrotron-FCT joint (online) meeting will offer a platform to meet poten
 tial Portuguese research group/ALBA scientific section partners for collab
 oration\, in order to allow the Portuguese and Spanish scientific communit
 y to start developing collaborations in these strategic areas.\n\nhttps://
